Ready to Receive the Lord and Become a Member?

A - Admit that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 tells us "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." "If we say we have no sin, we deceived ourselves and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8)
 
B - Believe in Jesus Christ. "for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." Acts 16:31

 

C - Confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and commit your life to Him. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 "Yet to all who received Him...He gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12

By Making a Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ: People who join this way are making public their belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. They also are baptized by immersion.

 

By Transfer of their Letter: When people join who are members of a church that baptizes by immersion, they may join by transferring their letter of membership to Memorial Baptist Church

 

 By a Statement of their Faith: When people join who are members of a church that does not baptize by immersion or does not grant letters of transfer, they may join by a statement of their faith. If they have not been baptized by immersion, they participate in a baptismal service here.
