Our goal as the Music Ministry Team at Memorial Baptist Church is to share the love and compassion of Christ with others through the music and drama presented during worship and other special services. We believe everyone, regardless of talent, can be a part of the MBC Music ministry. The only requirements for membership are dedication and a heart that truely desires to honor God. If you meet these, we would love for you to join us in one of the
following ways:
Adult Choir:
Everyone, youth age and older, is invited to join us as we share Gods message through song. We help lead the worship service and prepare the congregation to recieve Gods word. We practice Sunday evenings at 5:00, September through June. Please join us and remember you don't have to be a great singer to be a great witness or to have a great testimony.
Children's Choir:
All children ages three through eleven years are invited to come be a part. We practice Sunday evenings at 5:00, September through Easter. We normally present a Christmas and Easter play and invite everyone in the community to come out and receive a blessing. The only requirement for being a part of our Children's Choir is that the children come to practice so they can learn the songs and speaking parts.
Congregational Singing:
Here at Memorial Baptist Church we have a blended service of traditional aspects, such as hymns and more contemporary aspects, such as praise and worship singing. We invite the congregation to lift up their voices and sing praises to the Lord. In the same manner the congregation becomes part of the worship experience. You may not have ever thought about the Church congregation being a part of the music ministry, but they are just as important to the worship service as anyone else.
