GEMS- Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior

"What does the Lord require of you?

....to do justice, to love mercy and to walk humbly

GEMS- is a very special club-a place to belong and build lasting

relationships with God and with other girls!

The girls (1st-6th grades) participate in organized activities through which friendships

naturally begin to develop. Awareness Level activities teach:

1. Who God is.

2. How to share with others.

3. Stories from the Bible.

4. How to help others.

5. How to be considerate.

6. Earning badges to help discover talents and

develop new skills.

7. Learning to worship with regular opportunities for

singing and creative movement.

8. Discovering more about who God is through His

Word and His world.

9. Participating in meaningful service opportunities.

Girls will learn that God is their Creator,

their Heavenly Father, and their Friend forever. They discover how important

and special it is to know Him.

For over fifty years, God has blessed this ministry, causing it to grow and reach

more and more girls for Christ.

In 2006, an expanded vision for how God would use GEMS to accomplish

His Kingdom purposes became clear. God was calling GEMS to adopt a

global perspective-to have eyes that see the pain, suffering, and broken-

heartedness in the world-and to join Him in His work around the world.

If we are willing to turn our focus ourselves onto other people-

people who are in great need of our help and the hope that we have

in Jesus Christ- He will empower us to become difference makers

and justice walkers.
